Frequently asked questions

Tap a question to expand. Still stuck? Email us below.

How does goodeye know if a place is busy?
Busyness comes from recent updates people post on the ground — notes, photos, and community signals. Treat it as a live vibe check, not a guarantee; crowds change fast.
How do I post an update?
From the home screen, tap +, choose a location, write what you’re seeing, optionally attach media, and submit. Other people can see it and react.
Can I use goodeye offline?
You need a connection to load fresh data and post updates. Previously loaded spots may still appear while you’re offline.
How do I add friends?
Open Search, find someone by name, and send a friend request. Once they accept, you’ll see more of each other’s activity.
How do I delete my account?
In the app go to Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account. You can also email sam@goodeye.app and we’ll help.
I’m not getting password reset or push notifications
Check spam for reset emails, confirm the email on the account, and make sure notifications are enabled for goodeye in your phone settings. If it still fails, email us with the account address and device type.
